Contentment in Everyday Life - Weekend Retreat

with Steven Mustain & Bruce Wauchope

February 15th—February 17th

Date details +

Contentment can be hard to find. Much of the time we search for contentment in things, achievements, or relationships. With meditation practice, we relax with ourselves and appreciate simple human experiences. Difficult emotions and the challenges of life can be met with gentleness, mindfulness and inquisitiveness.

This weekend offers an experiential training in learning to appreciate each moment and relate to our world with curiosity and friendliness. Students will learn and practice basic mindfulness meditation and also learn a contemplative practice based on contentment. Through guided meditation, talks, contemplation, and group discussions, we can gain an understanding of unconditional contentment and start to appreciate the lives we have already.
