Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction practice

From 9:30 am to 12 noon, we will engage in many of the mindfulness practices associated with mindfulness based stress reduction model developed by Jon Kabatt-Zinn as well as other practices. These will include guided instruction in mindful deep relaxation, breath work, sitting meditation, walking meditation, mindful Yoga, Qi Gong, group discussion and more.
All of this is open to beginners and will be very easy for anyone to follow with regular transitions from one practice to another to make it workable and keep the body at ease for everyone.
Timothey Walker Ph.D., started the first Mindfulness Clinic in Atlantic Canada in 1995 and taught steadily for 20 years as well as 22 years of Weekend retreats for cancer patients across Canada and the US.
